OUR COMPANY

Postharvest Technology & Innovation ( PTI Chile S.A.) is a Chilean company which offers different services related to the postharvest of horticultural and fruit products. Our services are aimed to exporters and producers whose goal is to improve the quality and condition of fruit in different markets and therefore to optimize their return.

Our experience indicates that many of the problems of fruit in different markets are linked to inadequate postharvest handling and the lack of control systems in the critical points of the process.


Our consultants, lead by Juan Pablo Zoffoli, help us being a company with a very solid technical base oriented towards the problems that fruit exporters face.

OUR WAY OF WORKING

Our way of working involves the diagnosis of the main critical points, making a managing plan for each variety according the species and having technical staff to check the critical points, previously agreed. This way, we try to guarantee the proposed handling on daily basis. All the control is performed with top quality material and technical instruments, which facilitates the evaluation and measurements of the different parameters.

The interrelationship among business departments is a permanent process in our manner of working. The goal of our service is that all the technical information would be shared simultaneously with the business department, to make better decisions about the destiny of the fruit.
